City Apartment

Designed for a family constantly on the move, the vision was to create a home that feels welcoming, calm and personal. The apartment was fully renovated with a focus on improving circulation, storage and the overall flow of the home. While the original layout was largely preserved, the former service corridor was transformed into an oak-clad hallway, creating a natural architectural spine that runs through the apartment.

Warm, layered colours and tactile materials introduce a more international atmosphere, drawing inspiration from the tones of the surrounding façades rather than typical Scandinavian minimalism. All carpentry was custom designed, and several furniture pieces were specially created by Studio Ramson.

The kitchen and bathrooms were completely redesigned, including a small monochrome guest toilet that offers a graphic contrast to the warmer palette found throughout the rest of the apartment.
